Yes. Extensions can be:
Curled or straightened (up to 190°C with heat protection)
Styled and tied
Lightening is not recommended, and any color changes should always be done carefully with a strand test first.
No. When applied correctly and cared for properly, hair extensions do not damage natural hair.
It is normal to lose 100-300 hairs per day, and these hairs stay trapped in the extensions until correction, which is why shedding may look heavier during removal.
The hair itself can be reused many times if it remains in good condition.
Maintenance (correction) is usually needed:
Keratin (WAX) extensions: every 2.5–3 months
Invisible Tape-in extensions: every 6–8 weeks
Silicone Nano ring extensions: every 8–12 weeks
Genius/Butterfly Weft: every 6–8 weeks
Depending on the method and amount of hair:

You should wait 24–48 hours after the application before washing your hair to allow the bonds or tapes to fully set.
